Santiago Gervasoni & Mirall

TAPE

Santiago Gervasoni is a keyboardist and composer. His interpretative and composing language is inspired by baroque music (Master in harpsichord at the University of the Arts Berlin, collaborations with La Tempête and the Konzerthausorchester, academician at the CCR d’Ambronay with G. Jourdain, Fondazione Cini with A. Beyer), space jazz (founding member of the trio Off to the Luna), classical music (Bachelor in piano at the HfM Hanns Eisler Berlin) as well as neo-classical, folk, and electronic. His creative process as a performer and composer is largely based on the mutual enrichment of the different musical genres he explores.

Mireia Peñalver i Guilleumes is a performer and creator based in Berlin. Mirall is her alter-ego interdisciplinary creation project. In a line of research and exploration of the multiple soundscapes that her instruments unfold, she is currently carrying out a creative work that allows her to approach and experience sound from a contemporary angle. Mirall aims to be a way of consolidating the need to develop a new form of latent artistic expression through the cello, viola da gamba, voice and electronics as main tools.
